San Antonio Sees Highest Six-Figure Job Growth in Texas

In Central Texas, Austin is often looked to when talk turns to job growth. The city has certainly made waves with big names like Elon Musk moving in, but other Texas cities are making big job news and breaking records.

While Austin is the number one city that people are relocating to for work, San Antonio is experiencing the largest six-figure job growth. According to a study by Stessa, a real estate software company, factors including COVID-19 have led to an increase in wages across the country. These factors have pushed employers in many industries to pay their workers more to draw talent and offset inflation.

While lower-wage jobs have also seen some increase in pay in order to remain competitive and combat labor shortages, it doesn’t come close…

Austin Ranked Top City for Job Seekers

Amongst the many reasons people move, jobs, family, and housing are statistically some of the more common driving factors. But where are people moving to? For people relocating for a new job, the number one answer is Austin.

A recent report by Realtor.com analyzed LinkedIn data over 12 months to see where people were moving for work, and the data showed that Austin is the top city for job seekers. Between 2020 and 2021, Austin saw a 33% increase in people relocating to the city for jobs according to the report.

Hiring in Austin has also increased 25% between November 2020 and November 2021, according to a LinkedIn Workforce Report. In that time, most of the people moving to Austin from out of state came from California and New York, which shows that…

Realty Austin Donates $125,000 for Giving Tuesday

On November 30, in honor of Giving Tuesday, Realty Austin donated $125,000 to local charities across the greater Austin community.

All of the funds donated this week will fund numerous essential services benefiting more than 1,000 children, families, and individuals in the area. 

“This is truly all because of our amazing team of agents and staff,” said Yvette Flores, Realty Austin co-founder. “The funds that they donate from their commissions and salaries are what enable us to do this work in the community.”

Since 2012, Realty Austin agents and staff have donated over $2.3 million to address the affordable housing crisis in Austin. They’ve also donated more than 26,000 volunteer hours to build homes, serve meals, and give back to our community. 

Realty Austin Helps Foundation Communities Raise Over $775,000 for Affordable Housing Programs

AUSTIN, TX— On Tuesday, October 19, Realty Austin and Foundation Communities came together to celebrate resilience, hope, and community at this year’s Welcome Home Luncheon. Realty San Antonio Launches Its 1st Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio Home Build

On Friday, November 5, Realty San Antonio launched its 1st Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio home build. Realty San Antonio agents donated $10,000 and 100 volunteer hours to help complete the Musavi Family’s new home. The Musavis have been waiting, “a very long time,” to become homeowners and they are excited for the growth and stability that their new home will offer them and their three young children.
