Realty Austin Looks Back at a Successful 2021

In 2021, Realty Austin continued to lead by example through an unpredictable year. We embraced our core mantra, “We’re For Here”, and helped the people who call Central Texas home. Our staff and agents volunteered 2,199 hours in 2021 and reinvested $616,000+ back into our communities and affordable housing efforts. We also completed our 10th annual Realty Austin Habitat for Humanity Home Build, helped Foundation Communities raise over $775,000 for affordable housing programs, and donated $125,000 for Giving Tuesday.

2021 was another incredible year for the #1 independent real estate brokerage in Central Texas, and we’ve got plenty to be proud of. Our 600+ REALTOR® rockstars of Realty Austin | Realty San Antonio achieved $6.1 billion in sales and sold more homes per agent than any other top 20 brokerage firm in Austin. On top of that, our agents averaged $9.7 million in production.

It was another great year to work at Realty Austin, and people took notice. Realty Austin was awarded #1 Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman and #1 Best Place to Work by the Austin Business Journal. 

We’re continually recognized as the best place to work because our involved co-owners made it their mission to keep supporting their staff and agents while remaining leaders in the real estate industry. Co-founder Yvette Flores was awarded the Hancock, McGill & Bleau Housing Leadership Award for her dedication to addressing the affordable housing crisis in the Austin community.

This commitment to greatness was seen at every level of our organization in 2021. Our diverse group of Austin real estate agents average 10 years of experience and speak a total of 24 different languages. Realty Austin offers a level of support not seen anywhere else.

We also expanded south to the Alamo City with Realty San Antonio in early 2021 and opened our vibrant La Cantera office in San Antonio in October of that same year.

When it comes to looking forward, we’re just getting started. Jonathan Boatwright and Yvette Flores made the Swanepoel Power 200's list of The Most Powerful People in The Residential Real Estate Brokerage Industry in 2022.
