The Pecan Street Festival, a large and long-running arts and music festival in Central Texas, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a change of venue. The Spring 2025 festival, usually held on Austin's Sixth Street, will be at the Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave on May 3-4. The festival will feature over 300 artisan booths, live music (including a tribute to Austin's Roky Erickson), and family-friendly activities.

2025 H-E-B Austin Sunshine Run

This pet-friendly event offers certified 5K and 10K courses along W Cesar Chavez Street, adjacent to the scenic Lady Bird Lake. Participants can choose from various race options, including the "Fastest Dog in Austin" 5K, a Kids K, and virtual 5K and 10K races for those unable to attend in person.
