FIA World Endurance Championship

The FIA World Endurance Championship returns to Circuit of The Americas from September 5 to 7, 2025, for the Lone Star Le Mans, the only North American stop on the global series calendar. Bat Fest 2025 returns to downtown Austin on Saturday, September 6, for a full day of music, food, family fun, and bat watching on the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. This iconic Austin tradition celebrates the city's famous Mexican free-tailed bats with live performances from Silversun Pickups, Waka Flocka Flame, Giovannie and The Hired Guns, RiFF RAFF, and more. Austin Princess Day returns on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Red Oak Ballroom for a magical family event filled with fairytale fun. Hosted by Pretty Princess Parties, this 90-minute experience includes enchanting performances, sing-alongs, games, crafts, and a special meet and greet with each princess character. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite princess and enjoy photo ops, autographs, and hugs. Sessions take place throughout the day at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m., with limited capacity to ensure an intimate and memorable experience for every guest. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the 17th annual Viva México event hosted by the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center on Saturday, September 14 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Oswaldo A.B. Cantu Pan American Recreation Center in East Austin. This free family-friendly celebration features mariachi and folklórico performances, Aztec dance, a marketplace by Frida Friday ATX, hands-on art activities, local food trucks, and a community resource fair. Guests will also enjoy a special Grito de Independencia led by the Mexican Consul and live entertainment from artists like Llamativa, Organización Kumbiambera, and Mariachi Clásico. Free shuttle service will be available from nearby parking lots.
