Realty Austin Rises to No. 46 in RISMedia Power Broker Report

AUSTIN, TX—Realty Austin, the #1 independent residential real estate brokerage in Austin, rises to the No. 46 power brokerage according to RISMedia’s 32nd Annual Power Broker Report. Realty Austin reported a total sales volume of $3,418,667,249 in 2019 representing 8,025 closed residential transactions.

2020 marks the 8th year Realty Austin has appeared on RISMedia’s Power Broker Report according to sales volume. The company increased their sales volume by 17% and total transactions by 12% in 2019.

The Top 1,000 Power Brokers collectively earned nearly $1.5 trillion in sales volume and almost 4 million transactions in 2019, encompassing more than 542,000 agents in over 9,200 offices.

Additional highlights from the 2019 Power Broker Report & Survey include:

• 35% of the Power Brokers described their market conditions as “Growing” and 30% described them as “Balanced”
• Power Brokers are showing more positivity as 50% described their confidence in the market as “Cautiously Optimistic” and 42% described it as “High”
• 68% of the Power Brokers reported that lack of inventory was their biggest challenge, making it the third year in a row to top the list, up from 49% last year
• 36% of The Power Brokers reported first-time homebuyers and millennials are their biggest opportunity
