Realty Austin Partners with Foundation Communities as their Match Fund Sponsor for the 11th Year

AUSTIN, TX—Realty Austin and Foundation Communities came together on October 18, 2022, to help raise over $550,000 at their annual Welcome Home Luncheon. For more than 30 years, Foundation Communities has developed and managed attractive, service-enriched, affordable homes for thousands of people with low incomes, connecting them with resources that support economic and housing stability.

The luncheon was held at Foundation Communities’ newest property Laurel Creek, which will house 88 low-income families, many of whom were formerly homeless. Laurel Creek is also home to the Realty Austin Learning Center, which will serve over 198 families and children with free after-school and summer learning programs. Yvette Flores, Realty Austin Co-owner, said, “We are honored to have the privilege of providing the match fund for the 10th year in a row, which provides not only awareness but stability for ongoing programs at Foundation Communities. Throughout the year, our agents volunteer their time and resources to this wonderful organization and have such a strong passion for giving back to the community.”

Foundation Communities is on the road to welcoming home 2,000+ new residents across eight new apartment communities.

Realty Austin Agents at the 2022 Foundation Communities Welcome Home Luncheon Fundraiser. All raised donations go towards opening new locations as well as funding the many programs the organization offers.

We focus on three things; education at our Learning Centers, health programs and financial services.”
