Realty Austin Compass Dedicates its 12th Austin Habitat for Humanity Home

Realty Austin Compass dedicated its 12th Austin Habitat for Humanity home to Ms. Devyne and her two children on Friday, June 7, 2024, as part of the company’s mission to support affordable housing in Austin.

Meet Devyne

Devyne is a native Austinite and single mother of two who works as a Staff Attorney for Global Projects at Child USA, advocating for children's safety and civil rights. Motivated by Austin Habitat's reputation for building community, she applied for the Homeownership Program to provide stability and a secure home for her family. Devyne is grateful for the support of sponsors, volunteers, and donors who made her dream of homeownership a reality.

Realty Austin Compass and its team of agents donated over $75,000 to sponsor and build the home, and for 12 weeks, over 150 Realty Austin Compass agents and staff volunteered over 1,100 hours. Ben Pierson, Albert Allen, and Charles Lee were spotlighted as Habitat Heroes this year for their unwavering commitment to giving back and dedication to supporting affordable housing solutions for our neighbors in need.
