CITY OF AUSTIN

If you’re a City of Austin resident, you can place your tree on the curbside and schedule to have it picked up

AUSTIN COMMUNITY LANDFILL

Austin Community Landfill allows Christmas trees to be dropped off and chipped to use for erosion control around their landfill. Anyone can stop by the landfill to dispose of their tree and for no cost]

WILLAMSON COUNTY LANDFILL

At no charge during the two weeks after Christmas, Willamson County Landfill allows residents to dispose of their natural trees to be mulched in the landfill. Artificial Christmas trees can be recycled as a standard household waste item at home.

CITY OF CEDAR PARK

If you’re a City of Cedar Park resident, you can bring your holiday tree to the recreation center parking lot. Your tree will be mulched and used in city parks and facilities.

CITY OF BUDA

If you’re a City of Buda resident, Christmas trees will be picked up on regular service days from December 26th to January 13th. You can also drop off your tree at the local landfill to be recycled and mulched.

CITY OF DRIPPING SPRINGS

If you’re a City of Dripping Springs resident, through January 10, trees can be dropped off anytime at the concrete slab on the west side of “the triangle” (RR12/U.S. 290). The collected trees will be turned into mulch and made available to the public at “the triangle” from January 11 through January 15, on a first-come, first-served basis.
