Bastrop’s Annual Big Bang Celebration

The celebration wraps up with a full symphony concert and a spectacular fireworks display over the water.

 

Independence Day Festival

The Hill Country Galleria turns into a festive gathering place on the Fourth of July, offering live music, fair rides, water games, face painting, and more than 40 artisan vendors from 4 to 10 PM. Guests can enjoy food from local trucks and restaurants before settling in on the lawn for evening performances and a fireworks show over the plaza. Admission and parking are free!

 

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic

Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic is back with an all-star lineup and a laid-back, all-day celebration of music and summer. Fans can kick back to the sounds of Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, The Mavericks, Asleep at the Wheel, and Tami Neilson. It’s a chance to enjoy some of the biggest names on one stage, with food, drinks, and a relaxed summer atmosphere throughout the day. The celebration closes with a fireworks show to cap off the evening.

 

Red, White, & Buda

The Fourth of July festivities begin with a morning bike parade through downtown, complete with a post-parade awards ceremony. Later, the amphitheater lawn hosts splash pad fun, bounce houses, rock‑wall climbing, sand volleyball, cornhole, and music spun by a DJ. An on‑site food court and food trucks provide options for everyone, while a vendor market adds some shopping fun. Texas country star Aaron Watson headlines the evening show, which culminates around 9:15 pm with a free fireworks display over the lawn.

 

Kyle's Independence Day Fireworks Show

Kyle’s Independence Day celebration offers a relaxed evening of music, food, and fireworks for the whole community. Festivities begin at 5 PM with live music and food vendors set up near the Hays Performing Arts Center, where families can gather with lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the atmosphere. As the sun sets, the excitement builds for the main event as fireworks launch around 9 PM from Plum Creek Golf Course. The display can be seen from several nearby viewing areas, making it easy for residents and visitors to find a comfortable spot to watch the night sky come alive.

 

Sertoma's 4th Of July In San Gabriel Park

Georgetown’s Independence Day celebration begins at 10 AM in San Gabriel Park with a full day of festivities for all ages. The kids' parade starts at 11 AM, featuring decorated bikes, wagons, and scooters, followed by awards. Throughout the day, families can enjoy a petting zoo, train rides, laser tag, inflatables, games, a car show, and arts and crafts booths. More than 15 food vendors offer a variety of food and drinks, and live music plays on the main stage through the afternoon and evening. The celebration wraps up around 9:30 PM with a fireworks show launched over McMaster Athletic Fields, visible from the park and surrounding areas.

 

Round Rock 4th & Frontier Days

July 4

Round Rock’s Independence Day celebration kicks off early with the Sertoma Parade at 8:30 AM, where giant balloons, creative floats, and community groups march down Mays Street. Starting at noon in Old Settlers Park, Frontier Days brings carnival rides, games, live music from acts like Elevation Band and the Austin Symphonic Band, pig races, a pepper‑eating contest, vendor booths, and a kids’ zone. As evening falls, a fireworks display set to live symphonic music lights up the sky, followed by a final set from Elevation Band to wrap up the night.

 

Lakeway’s July 4th Celebration

Lakeway's Independence Day event celebrates its 50th anniversary under the theme “Golden Legacy.” The morning kicks off with a festive parade along Lakeway Drive, honoring veterans and showcasing local pride. After the parade, the community is invited to the Activity Center for a complimentary hot dog reception. This long-standing tradition brings neighbors together to celebrate the city’s history and the spirit of Independence Day.
