The Arboretum at Great Hills is less than 2 miles away, offering one of the most favorite places in Austin to shop and dine. When residents take a 6-mile drive to 35th Street, they have access to Seton Medical Center Austin, Central Market, and lots of upscale boutiques and small diners.

With proximity to Loop 360, Highway 183, and MoPac Expressway / TX-1 Loop, residents travel to Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, and all parts of the greater Austin area for work, education, recreation, and live music.

The Westover Hills neighborhood is located in northwest Austin, roughly nine miles north of downtown Austin, west of MoPac, Loop 1, east of Highway 360, and just south of Highway 183. Due to its positioning, it offers extremely easy access to Austin's main freeways. It is about a 20 minute cab ride to downtown Austin and convenient to the airport as well.

The Westover Hills neighborhood is an established community that was developed in the 1960s and '70s. The gorgeous live oak trees that line the residential streets make this neighborhood truly special. The homes in this neighborhood are typically ranch style or mid-century modern and range in size from 1,600 to 3,500 square feet, while property sizes range from one quarter to half an acre of land. Completely renovated homes in this neighborhood can go for top dollar, but others can be extremely affordable.

Westover Hills is a great neighborhood for those who love an active lifestyle. Barrow Preserve and Steck Valley Parks are just a short distance away and offer great trails for hiking and biking. You also don't have to go far to find great restaurants. Some of my favorites are Galaxy Cafe and the Brooklyn Pie Company. And don't forget Austin's famous Torchy's Tacos. Get the queso.

For shopping, residents have plenty of choices. Both the Arboretum, the Domain, and Anderson Lane, which offer clothing stores, art galleries, and dining options are just a short drive away. Depending on your family's interests and needs, you can also easily access the Westover Club and the J.C.C. Located in the Austin Independent School District, your children will have access to Hill Elementary, Murchison Middle School, and Anderson High School. These schools are known for being both academically and athletically competitive.

Westover Hills is a small and friendly neighborhood although it's not too far away from the fast-paced downtown. It feels quiet, tranquil, and timeless.
