The #1 Best Place to Work Announces Outstanding Agents at End-of-Year Awards Ceremony

AUSTIN, TX — Realty Austin honored its top real estate agents who excelled in 2015 at the company’s winter party and awards ceremony. The brokerage of the future celebrated the achievements of their 350 agents at its annual red carpet event with special award categories for agents that go above and beyond.

Realty Austin Top Producer Awards

Based on overall sales, Realty Austin’s individual top producing agent Lisa Muñoz sold over $36.6M and was awarded top honors for sales volume and highest number of transactions closed with 105. Since joining Realty Austin in 2010 with a sales volume of $17M, Muñoz has more than doubled her production. In 2015, Muñoz achieved her career-high sales reaching $37M.

Since joining the Southwest Market in March of 2015, Realty Austin’s no. 2 top producer Ashley Stucki has closed over $26M in just 8 months at Realty Austin.

From the Lake Travis market, Todd Grossman, Realty Austin’s no. 3 top producer knocks it out of the park year over year. Since joining the Realty Austin team in 2009, the “Home Run King” has closed over $152M in sales overall and $24.1M year to date.

Selling more than $25 million and closing the highest number of transactions (88), Realty Austin's top producing team is Sarabeth Peterson and Jordan Johnson. Team ATX, also affectionately known as #JoBeth, has closed over $37M since they joined Realty Austin in 2013.

The no. 2 top producing team at Realty Austin is the Clausen Group of the Southwest market center. As a former Navy Seal and his wife, these agents brings a rigor and focus to their work that comes from a foundation of discipline and hard work since joining Realty Austin in 2010. Last year their team grew, as they were joined by Kelli Whirlow as a teammate.

Realty Austin’s no. 3 top producing team started the year as an individual agent with his wife helping as a part time assistant with $9.5M in sales. Late in 2014, Bryan and Rebecca Greenleaf made the switch and became a full fledged team which doubled their business to $19.1M in 2015.

Realty Austin Rising Star Awards

The Rising Star of the Year award series recognizes a top achiever who has been on the Realty Austin team less than two years and has achieved the biggest increase in sales since joining. #therealtyaustineffect

Realty Austin Central Rising Star is Ami Davis. Davis grew her sales 118% to $7.3M in 2015. In her second year at Realty Austin, Davis more than doubled her sales from 2014.

Realty Austin Northwest Rising Star is Kim Moore. Moore, a third generation Realtor who enjoys the simple country life, focused her attention on increasing her production by leveraging her SOI, resulting in a huge improvement in her overall business. Moore grew her sales 41% to $4M in 2015.

Realty Austin Lake Travis-Westlake Rising Star is David Ramirez, a millennial who graduated from Texas State University and started his real estate career less than 3 years ago. Ramirez achieved a 164% increase in sales to over $4.5 million in 2015. Ramirez decided to go aggressively after company leads and converted 11 of them - which accounts for a large part of his increase in sales.

Realty Austin Southwest Rising Stars are just now completing their 2nd year at Realty Austin. Sarabeth Peterson and Jordan Johnson joined Realty Austin in December 2013, and they exceeded their goals by more than doubling their business from $12M to over $25M in sales in 2015. This is the highest year-over-year increase company-wide.

Realty Austin Diamond Club Awards

Realty Austin recognized 53 agents who closed over $10 million and teams that closed over $15 million in 2015 and qualified for the company’s prestigious Diamond Club. The Realty Austin Diamond Club for 2015 includes Lisa Muñoz, Ashley Stucki, Todd Grossman, Adam Walker, Sarabeth Peterson and Jordan Johnson, Clausen Group, Brian Copland, Bryan and Rebecca Greenleaf, Sonny and Erin Bara, Burt Dement, Gail Huebel, Aaron Nann, Lisa and Jeff Hill, Michael and Stacy Spickes, Carlos Ojeda, Colette Fitzgerald, Todd Bailey, Melanie Fenelon, Cynthia Mattiza, Cristina Valdes, Linda Takenaka, Allison Olson, Drew Griffin, Charla Housson, Tracy Picone, Michelle and Thaddeus Jones, Yusuf Johnson, Carl Shurr, Jen Butel, Ross Speed, Jennifer Mehis-Henry, Jason Taylor, Jeff Sehon, Michael Said, Sari Pearce, Kevin McCarthy, Amy Mills, AJ DelaCruz, Amy Bernhard, Beverly Williams, Haval Abbas, Vince Heinz, Israel Gutierrez.

Realty Austin Outstanding Service Awards

At the red carpet event, Realty Austin also awarded its team members with Superlative Awards for outstanding performance in many areas.

The Realty Austin Humanitarian Award winner for personal charitable contributions is Cristina Valdes of the Central market center. Valdes achieved over $12M in sales this year and contributed over $4,100 of her earnings to the company’s charitable giving efforts. To date, Valdes has contributed over $8,000 of her hard earned commissions over the past 4 years and volunteered on the build site.

Each year, the Realty Austin Team Spirit award is given to an agent who embraces the culture, exudes a positive attitude, and is a cheerleader for Realty Austin. Debbie Barrera was the 2015 recipient who exemplifies everything that is truly #realtyawesome from her upbeat attitude to her infectious smile.

The Realty Austin Heartbeat Award is given to an agent who fully embraces the culture of ‘work hard, play hard and give back’. The company named as this year’s recipients. Since the first day they joined in 2010, this year’s recipients Sonny and Erin Bara have been known to do things with their heart, soul, and loads of laughter.

The Realty Austin Hard Hat & Hammer Heroes award is a new award to recognize individuals who go above and beyond our mission to give back. Jason Taylor, Cara Keenan and Kathy Jacobs were this year’s recipients. These individuals gave of themselves selflessly by volunteering on-site for 10 weeks at the 4th Annual Realty Austin Habitat for Humanity home build.

The Realty Austin Most Valuable Player award is presented to the individuals who contribute to Realty Austin as a whole in a significant way. The company honored its office managers Jen Arsaga, Eric Macalik, Sonia Coons, Mandy Krivohlavy, Lorrie Lampson, Candice Schembri and Leslie McClain with 2015’s MVP team player award. This hard-working crew stays calm in the eye of the storm and keeps things running smooth at Realty Austin.

Penelope Kemper was named the Realty Austin Director of the Year. This award is given to a team member who consistently takes the reins and accomplishes tasks. As the first employee of Realty Austin in 2004, Kemper helped build the foundation of the $2B dollar company and serves as its Finance Director today.

The Unsung Hero award is bestowed upon a team member who works tirelessly behind the scenes and consistently strives toward making Realty Austin a best place to work. Gina Gallaher was this year’s recipient. Gallaher’s diligent follow through and high level of attention to detail were cited as reasons why she won.
