Realty Austin is the one place where you can really create the world you want to live in. I'm Todd Bailey, and I joined Realty Austin in January of 2010. I'd been in the industry six or seven years, and I just couldn't really get to where I wanted to be. After about 15 minutes of talking to Jonathan, it was really apparent that they wanted their agents to succeed. There wasn't this push or pull between broker and agent. He also had a website that was lightyears ahead of everybody else. I just knew right away that it was a good match for me.

One of the aspects of the culture at Realty Austin I really love is how everybody continues to get better and better. I've seen my peers grow, and I feel like as they grow, it inspires me to grow. One of my favorite support people is Courtney Lepore. Courtney has helped me grow my business from the day I walked in the door at Realty Austin. She was a contract-to-close person and now she's vice president of Realty Austin. I feel like I've grown that entire way with her.

Year one I did $4 million in production, and this year I'm on track to do $20 million. Every now and then I come across a situation that requires more expertise. I have a market manager that I can call, I've got a great broker, obviously, that I can call. I've got coworkers that I can collaborate with and come up with a solution. I get to talk and interact with some of the best agents in town, and I get to share ideas with them.

There's ongoing agent-to-agent learning that I just don't think exists anywhere else. At Realty Austin I know, and I feel really confident that we're going to continue to move in a direction, not only with our technology, but as an industry leader. As the market changes, I feel that the leadership at Realty Austin is always leading the charge. This is absolutely the best company in Austin. Frankly, the best company in Texas. And the quicker you get onboard, the quicker you're going to be able to achieve the goals that you really wanted to.

It's given me direction in a way to work more effectively. I took a month off this year because my work-life balance is in such good shape at this point. I knew that the support at Realty Austin had my back, that I knew all the transactions that I had in the works were going to continue to move forward. I knew all my clients were taken care of, and I was able to really relax and spend a lot of time with my wife and my new little daughter, and I just adore those two like crazy.

Having that time is why we do what we do. Is really to spend time with family and friends, and I'm really thankful that I'm able to do that.
