Scofield Farms students are fortunate to attend Pflugerville Independent School District, whose mission is “to provide a quality education with a commitment to excellence by facilitating learning in a safe and nurturing environment.” PISD strives to provide students with the tools necessary to plan for post-graduation life and prepare for college. Using the Pflugerville Pfamily Roadmap to Success, PISD and parents help students choose a course of study that will satisfy the requirements for graduation as well as their own academic needs and interests. All the Scofield Farms schools are within one mile of the community, and there are also private school options in the area.

When you live at Scofield Farms you’ll find there are a great many amenities offered that make life more comfortable and convenient. Enjoy the sparkling community swimming pool and playground for the young ones. Take a stroll along the walking trail through Metric and Scofield Ridge Pkwy or walk over to the neighborhood park on Scofield Farms Dr. You’ll feel right at home with the community events held throughout the year, like the Easter Egg Hunt, Jazz in the Park Night, 4th of July Parade, National Night Out, and other holiday parties and ice cream socials. You’ll also find everything you need within minutes of Scofield Farms like fitness centers, grocery stores, and high-end shopping at The Domain.

Scofield Farms is a master plan community of about 1,500 homes. It’s located between Mopac, I-35, Parmer, and Howard Lane. It’s about a 15 to 20 minute drive to downtown. The neighborhood consists of brick traditional style homes, one story, and two story. The price range is in between the 180s and the early 300s. The homes were built between 1992 and 2003. Footage range is between 1,500 and 4,500 square feet.

There are two different sections in Scofield Farms. There’s the original section, which is off of Cutting Horse and Metric, and then there’s the Ridge, which is on the other side of Metric off Chasewood and Scofield Ridge Parkway. People like the original section due to the mature trees and the bigger lots. The playground and pool for this side of the neighborhood are on Scofield Farms Drive and Dapplegray. And people like the Ridge because of the newer homes. There are also newer condos over off Scofield Ridge Parkway.

Scofield Farms feeds into Pflugerville ISD. Parmer Lane is the elementary. They were recently awarded the Texas Honors Circle Award. West View Middle School is known for giving students an AP start on college. Connelly High School celebrates the diversity of their student body and staff. Their students have received between 3.5 and 4.5 million in scholarships. All the schools are within the neighborhood, and many of the houses are walking distance to them.

There’s a private school right up the street at Lamar and Parmer. It’s called Brentwood Christian, and it’s known for giving a great private school education at a moderate price. There’s also a lot of charter schools, such as Star Academy, Harmony Science Academy, and NYOS. Also, there’s a great preschool called Parmer Children’s Montessori School. The location is so great in Scofield, you really don’t have to go far to get everything you need. There’s restaurants and coffee shops like Starbucks in walking distance. There’s the big box stores, like Lowe’s and Target just down the street. There’s also a couple of HEBs that are within a mile. There’s also the Domain, which is within three miles of the neighborhood, and the Domain offers over a million square feet of upscale and mainstream retail as well as a movie theater and lots of great restaurants. There’s also a 55,000 square foot Whole Foods going in at the domain.

St. David’s North Austin is just right up the street within a mile, and it’s a state of the art hospital. There’s a lot of major employers nearby, like Dell, Samsung, IBM, Google, Apple, and due to all these high-tech industries nearby, a lot of the people that live in Scofield do work in the tech industry. There’s a beautiful 13-acre park right in the center of Scofield Farms. It has a multi-purpose field. It has walking trails. It has a beautiful creek running through it with little waterfalls. Scofield Farms is an involved community that hosts a lot of neighborhood events.

There’s an active board with committee members as well as a lot of volunteers that really make this neighborhood a great place to live.

You’ll find the master-planned community of Scofield Farms conveniently located close to Interstate 35 and Mopac Loop 1, between Parmer and Howard Ln. Residents love living in the area because it is within close proximity to major employers, and the commute to Downtown Austin is only 10 to 15 minutes without traffic, and about 30 to 40 minutes with traffic. In normal traffic, the commute to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is about 30 minutes. From Scofield Farms you can reach Round Rock in about 15 minutes.
