Where is Parmer Village?
Parmer Village is just south of Highway 45, between Highway 183 to the west and Mopac Loop 1 to the east. These homes are located about 15 minutes to the southwest of Round Rock, a great city to visit for a variety of popular dining and shopping destinations. To get to Round Rock, simply take Highway 45 to Interstate 35, the highway that connects Austin to Round Rock and San Antonio. Parmer Village is about 20 minutes north of Downtown Austin. If you’re looking for a quick vacation from the city, beautiful Lake Travis is just a 25-minute drive to the west, through the scenic hills of the Texas Hill Country.

Parmer Village Schools
Students in Parmer Village go to schools in the Round Rock Independent School District. The average student-teacher ratio for Round Rock ISD is one teacher per 15 students. The annual dropout rate for high school students in the district is just 1.3 percent. Enrollment continues to grow by more than 1,000 students per year. McNeil High School offers programs designed to prepare students for their life outside of high school. The Health Science Technology Academy and Engineering Academy prepare students for careers in the sciences and healthcare fields. Deer Park Middle School encourages parental involvement in students’ education. Live Oak Elementary strives to prepare students for academic achievement in higher grades and also serves as the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf.
