Although it has its roots as a rural junction stop in the 1880s, Liberty Hill has grown into a charming small town with a thriving business environment and its own school district. Liberty Hill has its own school district, Liberty Hill ISD, which has a unique organization. The youngest students attend Liberty Hill Elementary (PK-1) and Bill Burden Elementary (2-4). Older students attend Liberty Hill Intermediate (5-6), Liberty Hill Junior High (7-8) and Liberty Hill High School (9-12). The high school, home of the Panthers, boasts a high graduation rate, a past state title in football and a spelling championship in the University Interscholastic League competition. Private and parochial school options include Lifesprings Academy (K-11), Summit Christian Academy of Cedar Park (K-4) and Sterling Classical School (PK-8).
