Turn right toward Bee Cave on TX-71 W. In Bee Cave, bear right onto RM 620 heading north toward Lake Travis. Turn left onto Lohman's Crossing Road, then left again on Lakeway Boulevard. Turn right onto Lakeway Drive.

Ranger Field, dedicated to baseball teams and their fans, is also a favorite spot on early summer evenings.

Lakeway Regional Medical Center serves many living in this area both as a resource and as an employment center. For nearby shopping, Lakeway supports 2 grocery stores including an HEB and a Randalls. For more extensive shopping and dining, Lakeway is only about 6 miles from Hill Country Galleria and about 17 miles from Barton Creek Square or Sunset Valley Market Fair.

Our school district is an exemplary district, which has most recently been notoriety in academics and extracurricular activities.  Our high school sports team just one its fifth back-to-back state high school championship, which is a record here in Central Texas.  Some of the schools to mention would be Serene Hills Elementary, Lakeway Elementary, Lake Travis and Hudson Bed Middle School and the most notable Lake Travis High School.  Lakeway has a vast amount of shopping from the Hill Country Galleria, which is our full mall anchored by Dillard’s and Dick’s.  In the Hill Country Galleria is your brand-new Whole Foods only a couple weeks away.  Also we have a lot of boutique shopping and all your big-box stores, such Target and Home Depot and some of the most notable restaurants in the Lakeway area first of all would be one of our only five-star restaurants in the Austin area and that would be Hudson’s On The Bend.  

We also have a wide variety of different eclectic types of food.  We have the Grille at Rough Hollow.  We have the most notable Mexican restaurant, which you’ll find your neighbors any day of the week is Flores, Buenos Aires Café, which was downtown for several years, as well as Uncle Billy’s Barbeque Restaurant.  It’s not a hidden fact that the reason why most people wanna be out here is because of the Lake Lifestyle and exemplary school district.  As well as that you can also be on a golf course within a matter of minutes.  

We have championship courses as well as municipal courses.  Lakeway’s known for its vast amenities, mainly outdoors:  Hiking, biking, the lake, several libraries.  It’s a place to call home with children, empty-nesters and just someone that wants to be outdoors most of the time.  You will not find a better lake in Central Texas to live, work and play.
