This year Realty Austin’s agents, staff, family, and friends came together to donate over $10,000 to the 2021 Foundation Communities Back to School Drive. These generous offerings accounted for over 14% of the funds raised for the Foundation Communities Back-to-School drive this year!
The $70,000 raised during this year’s drive ensured that all 14 of Foundation Communities’ learning centers were able to purchase the supplies, books, and other educational materials needed to prepare for the new school year. 772 students received direct support for school supplies, technology, clothes, and uniforms, and 75 smart devices were purchased for both families and learning centers in the greater Austin area.
The Back to School Drive may be over but you can still support the work Foundation Communities does year-round to uplift our neighbors in need.
Since 2013, Realty Austin, in partnership with Foundation Communities, has joined forces to host one of the largest Back to School Supply Drives in Austin. Our staff, agents, and community members have generously donated over 820 backpacks and thousands of back-to-school supplies for students and classrooms in need.
And these donations have a real impact on the students’ success. Foundation Communities proudly reports an average 3.4 GPA among the students who they help in their Learning Centers. Realty Austin's goal is to help them continue this great academic success by funding their pathway to success.
