AUSTIN, TX –Realty Austin was honored as a recipient of the 100 Acts of Kindness Award at the Texas REALTORS® Centennial Celebration. Cyndi Cummings of Realty Austin was also recognized for the work she does providing resources for seniors in her community. Realty Austin’s Broker in Charge and Austin Board of Realtors President, Romeo Manzanilla was honored for pledging $1M to Community First! Village, gifting 400+ scholarships to students, supporting disaster relief, and advocating for the community.
Texas REALTORS® took a moment to shine the spotlight on these members who lead by example, going above and beyond to improve the lives of their clients, consumers, and their communities.
As one of the foremost philanthropic companies in the real estate industry, the pandemic has amplified Realty Austin’s generosity. In a matter of weeks, Realty Austin agents and staff called upon the community and raised $50,000 for the Central Texas Food Bank. Additionally, they raised over $12,000 for students in need of virtual learning resources at Foundation Communities.
Now more than ever, Realty Austin agents are inspired to give on every transaction to the company’s We’re For Here campaign benefiting SAFE| Children’s Shelter, Foundation Communities, Austin Habitat for Humanity, and Community First! Village.
