Bee Cave Woods is located just west of Mopac Loop 1, south of Bee Cave Rd, and north of Capital of Texas Highway. Many children walk or ride their bikes to school, and yet you’re still close to shopping, Downtown, and Zilker Park. You may find that you spend less time in your car when you live in Bee Cave Woods. There are no parks in Bee Cave Woods, because it so close to Zilker Park and the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Barton Creek Square Mall is also very close by, with a California Pizza Kitchen and other food court options. And here’s is the best part: Your commute is about ten minutes to Downtown–even during rush hour! And you can drive to the airport in about 15 to 20 minutes. Students attend schools in Eanes ISD.

Where is Bee Cave Woods?

They say there are no parks in Bee Cave Woods because it is so close to Austin’s “Central Park,” Zilker Park and its adjoining Barton Creek Greenbelt. Just beyond that is Downtown and the heart of Austin, while Lake Austin and all its upstream destinations are just minutes away. Getting out to the airport and the new F1 Circuit of the Americas track is an easy jaunt down Highway 360 to Highway 71, and so is leaving it all behind, by taking those same roads in the opposite direction out west to the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

The Bee Cave Woods neighborhood is composed of several wonderful, quiet streets you’d never guess were situated in the middle of an urban setting. You can pick up something to eat at the many restaurants in the area on your way to the Barton Creek Greenbelt or Zilker Park, both only a few minutes away, or spend a Saturday wandering Barton Creek Square Mall. Five minutes away is Mopac Loop 1, one of Austin’s main highways and a great jumping off point to just about anywhere in the city.

Bee Cave Woods Schools

Bee Cave Woods homes are often more affordable than others in the acclaimed Eanes ISD, making it a great choice for families. Eanes ISD has received the highest possible rating from the Texas Education Agency, and Westlake High School is consistently considered one of the best high schools in the country. In addition, there are several private schools just minutes away, including Trinity School, Regents, and St. Andrews.
