Before moving to Texas, Mike had the invaluable privilege of living around the U.S. including Florida, Oregon, Kansas, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. Since relocating to Austin in 1978, Mike is proud to call Austin home, where he has seen it transform from a college town to what it is today. He has invested considerable time and energy getting to know the greater Austin areas, learning all the intricacies of Texas real estate, and garnering an array of advanced real estate designations. Most importantly, he understands what it's like to relocate and can assist his clients through what can be a challenging process.

While Mike has worked as a Realtor for many years, he also has a background as a marketing executive and advertising with big firms (e.g., ADVO nationwide, working with Dell, & IBM). When selling a home, Mike has a proven success process, including the development and execution of a custom marketing plan. Whether buying or selling a home, Mike’s strong communication skills, honesty, patience, and commitment to his client’s goals make him the perfect choice for a smooth real estate transaction. As a result of his love of helping people, many of Mike’s clients have become lifelong friends.

On the personal side, Mike is a loving father and husband. He and his wife, Josie, share two adult children, Michelle and Brandon, and a beautifully rambunctious granddaughter, Penelope. Mike is a huge outdoor enthusiast and foodie, so when he is not running around ATX, you can find him out with his family enjoying all the diverse entertainment Austin affords.
