There are no words to describe how much we value Maggie’s insights and effort during the sale of my mother’s house in Pflugerville. This is probably the fifth or sixth time that our family has hired her and we would not dream of working with anybody else. She is delightful, knowledgeable, kind, responsive, and on our side. In 2015, we hired Maggie Falvey to help us find a home in the Austin area. She ultimately led us to build a house in Cedar Park. She was invaluable in that experience, in guiding us through the entire process. She was always available to answer any and all questions.  Over the ensuing years, she stayed in touch with us and ultimately became a dear friend. In 2019, my then-husband and I went through a divorce, and we contacted Maggie to see what our options were at the time. After a thoughtful look, we ultimately decided to retain ownership of our home for the time being. That decision ended up being one of the best we’ve made.  Jump forward to this past spring, and I contacted Maggie again to get her opinion on selling our home in the booming Austin market. She came and took a look at it to refresh her memory and to note any improvements we’d made. Afterward, her assessment on what we should list the house at was more than we could have hoped for! We entered the market at the precise price-point she recommended and ended up with a contract in 3 days, for $35,000 over the asking price! Thanks to Maggie and her very talented team, we closed within 30 days, with absolutely NO problems whatsoever! Maggie was available to answer questions and keep us informed throughout the entire process. I have previously bought and sold homes, and I can say without a doubt that Maggie Falvey is the best real estate agent I have ever worked with! My husband and I had been wanting to sell our home for a couple of years before we actually pulled the trigger. The reason? To say that we knew our house would be hard to sell would be an understatement. We had a unique set of circumstances surrounding our property that led others to tell us that it might actually be impossible to sell. Before Maggie even talked to us about listing the home, she put us in contact with several individuals who could possibly help us resolve some of the unique issues we faced. She did this even though she knew that if we resolved all of these issues, we might decide to stay in the home! Once we did decide to put our house on the market, Maggie walked us through everything, cheerfully holding my hand through the process of getting the house ready. We had chaotic schedules, so if we faced an obstacle or were having trouble getting something done on time, Maggie would literally stop what she was doing and head over to help. My husband and I are both physicians, and I would joke with Maggie that she actually had ‘doctor’s hours’ since I would text and call her later in the evening and on weekends! After the house was listed, there were many times we would get discouraged thinking that we would not be able to find someone willing to buy our home with its ‘issues,’ but Maggie stayed incredibly positive. There were many curveballs thrown, but Maggie was an absolute pro in dealing with it all. Once we actually got our house under contract, we were heading out of the country for a two-week vacation, but I left knowing that Maggie would be able to take care of everything and anything that might pop up while we were gone. And that she did. Beautifully. With our home about to close, we found another house we loved but discovered it was going to be a multiple offer situation. Again, Maggie gave us wonderful advice about how to proceed with the best chance of securing the house but while not making us feel like we were ‘overpaying’ as a reaction to the multiple offer situation. Now, we are in that house that we plan to call home forever. I have been absolutely giddy that we were actually able to sell our previous home and find such a lovely place to live. And I can honestly say that I always felt like Maggie was helping us because she cared about our situation and our family more than she was invested in what was in it for her. There are not enough great words to say about Maggie. We have known her for over 30 years . 4 years ago, she sold our home on Pickfair Drive Austin. Last week we closed on our home in Lakeway. Maggie Falvey has been a great help to us from the first time she picked us up to show us various neighborhoods in Austin to the day we actually closed on our home. She is very knowledgeable. Maggie is by far the best resource I have ever had in buying a house. And I say resource because she has a vast amount of information that she was able to share with me and have me watch out for what I would have not known otherwise (documents specific to Travis County required, flood plain gotcha's, people to talk to beyond just about the house: mortgage brokers to use, inspectors to use, pool builders, surveyors; you name it she had it). Secondly, she was on top of everything making sure this deal was coming along and that people were getting their to do's done-I've bought a few houses before this one but I have never had a personal coordinator before-very nice. As first time home buyers, my husband and I were pretty unsure of what to expect in the process. When I first spoke with to Maggie on the telephone before meeting her, I stressed that I was searching for a Realtor in Austin that would probably be asked to do things over and beyond what a Realtor would normally expect to do because I was the executor of an estate for a house in Austin, I live in Lexington, Kentucky, and am not familiar enough with Austin to know who to contact and where to go for assistance in getting things arranged or done at the house. Maggie only hesitated for a moment, and then replied she thought she could carry out whatever I might ask her to do. Maggie suggested we meet personally during my upcoming trip to Austin to take care of Estate matters, and decide for myself if I thought she would be capable of doing what I would need to be done. We did meet, and I have to admit that I was impressed with what she presented as her credentials, knowledge of the area and her connections in knowing who to go to get things done. I signed the listing agreement with her that day. I don't think Maggie, nor I, had an inkling of just how much would indeed be involved. For example, there was a bee problem which someone needed to be at the house to allow extermination, arrangements for carpet removal, window repair, repair of a plumbing problem that occurred, disposal of toxic chemicals and extensive cleaning, and coordinate all activities, to name a few. I am sure that is only a partial list of the things I needed to ask for Maggie's assistance on. Maggie stayed in constant contact with me to either update me and/or to ask what else she could help me with. She was also in constant contact to update me during the process of showings, bids, possible buyers, etc. and guided me through the whole sale process. Maggie and I encountered many ups and downs in which we had to tackle one problem at a time, and I have to say she never lost her cheerfulness the entire time. I, personally, lost my cheerfulness many times...but, Maggie never did! To say, I was pleased with her performance is truly an understatement.

First, I'd like to say that Maggie was great when we were looking to buy a house. Her deep knowledge of Austin - all parts of the city - were clear to us from the time we spent with her. We felt that we thoroughly explored what was available at the time and we got an education on Austin's history and places to see, which we subsequently put to good use. We were very happy with our experience and with the purchase of our home, which went smoothly. As a result of our experiences with Maggie in purchasing our home and now selling it, I do not hesitate to recommend her to professors that we are recruiting in my department at the university. Recently, Maggie shepherded us through the sale of our home. The circumstances surrounding the sale were quite difficult for me personally. The buyers were very demanding of my time and my patience. They frequently violated my privacy and treated our home as if they already owned it from the time they signed the contract. The closing was particularly painful and uncomfortable. Yet, throughout all of this, Maggie was there. She was a calming influence when I needed her to be that. She was annoyed on my behalf when I needed that. And she offered good advice. She helped me out several times by being at the house on the many occasions that the buyers wanted to get in, often on short notice. It is not an exaggeration to say that they were there about 8 times before closing. I had had an incident with an intruder late one night and the buyer's agent knew this, yet she left my door open on one of these visits after this incident. Because of this, Maggie stepped in. She made sure she was present when the buyers came in with their work crews, which was important to maintain the integrity of our home. She also worked hard to smooth over some extreme unpleasantness at closing, while also supporting me to the max. Because I like her so much I am sorry that the circumstances surrounding this sale were so difficult, but being selfish, I am also happy that she is our Realtor.
