John was professional and very patient with me. I had been thinking of selling my house for a year, since 2017. He contacted me in 2017, and I let him know that I wasn't ready to sell. He understood and sent me information monthly about the market in the area so that I could see what the houses were selling for. When I decided to sell, I called, and he came right over to discuss the process and let me know what to expect. We discussed pricing, and he was very informative about the process of listing the house so that I could get the best selling price and get as many people as possible to look at the home. He recommended, and pricing and I trusted his advise. He came prepared with stats and preliminary hiring documents without pressure to sign them. He left them with me and asked me to call him if I had any questions. He was very professional in all of our business interactions. After that, it was just the process of listing and waiting for offers. We listed the house, had an open house and had an offer quickly. It sold in 4 days, and I am satisfied with what I sold it for. During the process of negotiations with inspection, appraisal, and closing, I have to say it wasn't easy for me and I did get rattled a few times. John, however, with this expertise always assured me that things like that were typical for buyers and sellers and that he would handle any problems that we came across, and he did. I would get very upset about stuff in general, and he stayed calm and collective and always assured that he would handle it. I will say that John, by far exceeded my expectations with exemplary and personalized services and I would refer him and Realty Austin to friends and family.
