Shelly is one of those rare central Austinites – native and grew up in Central Austin. Few know Austin better; its past, its treasures, or even the best shortcuts to avoid the traffic! Shelly grew up in the Allandale neighborhood, went to McCallum High School and attended The University of Texas. While she represents sellers and buyers around the greater Austin area, she still lives in central Austin and enjoys everything it has to offer, including running at Town Lake, walking her dogs on the greenbelt, taking in a beautiful sunset at Mt. Bonnell and discovering new restaurants.

No stranger to the Million Dollar Club (selling over a $1,000,000 in real estate in a month), Shelly is a top producer. Her continued focus on real estate education and training helps deliver great service and market knowledge to her clients. She holds her Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations. And, as a Southwest Airlines flight attendant for 25 years, she honed her "customers-first" attitude, which always includes a dose of fun!

Shelly believes it is vital to give back to her community. She’s passionate about historic architecture and served on the board of Preservation Austin and most recently as board president. She has been extensively involved in their annual historic home tour and headed their re-naming and re-branding campaign in 2012. Her long list of volunteering organizations includes the Livestrong Foundation, St. David’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, Bryker Woods Elementary PTA, O.Henry Middle School PTA and Austin High School Academy of Global Studies Board Member.

Shelly and her husband, Todd, have a son in college and a daughter at Austin High School. They attend First Austin Church in downtown Austin.

Shelly is absolutely WONDERFUL. I've bought a house, sold that house, and purchased another house. All three times with realtors and my experience with Shelly was, hands down, the best of them all. And that's not to say my other two realtors weren't really great; because they were. I'd write them glowing reviews too, but I wouldn't say they were better than Shelly. She made the scary process of buying a house in the fast-paced Austin market so much easier (and dare I say enjoyable) than I was expecting. She never let us get down about finding the perfect house within our price range, even though it was tight. She responded lightning fast to our questions and did the hard work of getting us the best deal on the home we bought. She even stayed in contact after closing!
