Michael grew up in South Austin, went to school in North Austin and called West Campus home while he was studying at the University of Texas. Needless to say, Michael knows the Austin area like the back of his hand, and he takes pride in his ability to use his in-depth knowledge of Austin to benefit his clients. Michael always treats his clients like family and easily adjusts his working style to suit their individual needs. Michael brings a patient, honest, loyal and highly ethical attitude to each real estate transaction he encounters. Favorite Places in Austin

Michael loves his hometown and everything it has to offer. When he’s not working hard for his clients, you’ll find Michael relaxing at Barton Springs Pool or running on the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail. Michael loves visiting Zilker Park with his family, so you might even spot him taking a ride on the park’s train with his young son. Michael also enjoys exploring Austin’s unique food scene, from barbecue at Rudy’s to tacos from the Mellizoz Tacos food trailer. A few of his other favorites include Justine’s, Odd Duck and Uchi.

Michael has been with our family through every major real estate transaction. When my wife and I were buying our first house, Michael trudged with us to over two dozen different places over the course of an extended time until we found and secured the right fit for our family. All the while he exemplified competence, patience, and always put our interest in getting the right home squarely first.

Later, when it was time to buy my mom a home in Austin, we again turned to Michael, and again he guided us, this time through a purchase of a different kind of property in a different part of town with the same competence, patience, and honesty. When it was time to rent that property, Michael was able to provide practical and timely advice on preparing and marketing the property, allowing us to secure strong tenants in short order.

In each instance, we came out ahead financially and psychologically thanks to Michael's experience and diligent work. Michael is one of the true good guys in the real estate industry. He combines incredible experience and insight with incredible concern for the interests of his clients. I purchased my first home with Michael and I later rented it out. It’s Austin and it’s easy to be a landlord, right?

A few years later, I remember walking into that home with Michael Quinones on a tour designed to make the home ready for sale. What we walked into made my heart skip a beat.

My first home, the home I had updated with my dad, was a wreck. Holes in the drywall, torn carpet with exposed concrete, and a bathtub we don’t speak about. I began to lose my composure when I looked at Michael.

Michael wasn’t fazed. He had seen this before and probably worse. What was a major event for me was Tuesday to him.

What I appreciate about Michael are two things: he sees things from his clients' point of view and he takes ownership of a situation.

Michael indicated immediately, “this is worth fixing, it will cost this much,” or “don’t bother, leave it as is.” Then he proceeded to get bids on the repair work that was needed. Notice I didn’t write that Michael told me to get a bid, he said, “I know a team, I will have them here tomorrow.” And he did. It was close to what Michael quoted me on the walkthrough too. Their work was fantastic and I later used them on my family home.

We sold the house in 4 days.

I’ve bought three houses with Michael and he still gives me advice that sometimes isn’t in his own financial interest. He still helps with repairs on homes or recommends people that can do the work.

He is an honest person who I hope I communicated goes far beyond a normal Realtor. I view him as a partner and a friend and would recommend him to family, friends and strangers alike.

Michael is hands down the best agent we've worked with. He worked with us patiently for 2 years while we were looking for our second home. He was always available for brainstorming and advice but never pushy. He was respectful of our taste preferences, helped us figure out the right renovations to do to sell our first home, it goes on and on.
