Leah grew up in the real estate industry. She began training as an appraiser and realtor assistant under her Uncle Sid, who was a successful real estate professional in Southern Arkansas. Upon graduating college with honors in 2003, she relocated to Austin and moved up quickly within the mortgage industry eventually serving as the Texas Regional Marketing Coordinator for a national mortgage company through 2007. She then transitioned to a closing coordinator role and the pleasure of helping people make their dreams of homeownership come true fit her personality and passion perfectly.

Leah met her amazing husband, Josh, in the piney wood of Southern Arkansas and they relocated to Austin together. They adore Austin, Texas and the people they meet and work with each day! If you keep an eye out, you will spot the active couple and their son all over town, from the soccer fields of Crestview to the hike and bike trail of Ladybird Lake. In her downtime, Leah enjoys yoga, volunteering with local organizations such as Mobile Loaves and Fishes and catching live music across town and across genres.

Most recently she has served as the Transaction Manager for a luxury Austin broker where her focus was everything from marketing and listing assistance to closing coordination. Leah says she owes her thorough understanding of residential real estate to the amazing people she has had the pleasure of working with along the way.

Leah’s experience, keen eye for detail and sensitivity to clients’ needs has been essential as she has helped families, investors and first time home buyers through the home sell and purchase processes. She believes that knowledge and patience, as well as integrity, are a must in this industry. As a Closing Coordinator at Realty Austin, Leah’s passion for the details and client service is evident in all of her work.

Barrett Raven was a very professional from start to finish. He took care of us like family and helped us to navigate through the laws and rules to purchase in Texas. From our 1st meeting with him trying to understand what we were looking for until the very end of closing, Barrett was extremely professional. He was always working with us and looking out for us during the entire process of purchasing the condominium. No matter our questions and our concerns, Barrett would contact immediately the sellers' agent about the issues we raised and kept us in the loop as soon as Barrett had information about any issues and solutions to be offered. If he did not receive word back, he would let us know that he was working on it too. Overall Barrett and his team of Leah Schimberg and Zach Raven were always on top of things and making sure that we were not missing anything at all. They were always looking out for our interests and double checking that all the boxes were checked to avoid any surprises or delays in the purchase process. Incredible communication and professionalism with a family-friendly touch "PRICELESS" in times like this! My husband and I worked with Tony Elias to sell our home and purchase a new one simultaneously. This was a crazy, busy, and stressful time that Tony led us through with ease. He's calm, communicative, thoughtful, gets to know your wants and needs, and turned the experience from one I was dreading to one I thoroughly enjoyed. He never made us feel rushed inside any of the tours (and we looked at a lot!), and he went above and beyond to help us find our perfect home. We sold and bought a new house in record time, and Tony gets all of the credit for that. There are probably a lot of qualified realtors in Austin, but there's a real benefit to having a realtor like Tony. Not only does he know the industry, but he's also strategic, friendly, charming, and fights for your needs while still being fair, and those qualities helped us on more than one occasion during this process.

His assistant, Leah, was also phenomenal. She was with us every step of the way and puts my high standards for organization and project management to shame. We also appreciated her patience; we had so many different emails from so many different players in the process, but Leah kept us on track perfectly! With Tony and Leah's help, we put our house on the market within six days of meeting each other, had multiple offers above asking within two days (did I mention he's strategic?), and sold in 3. We were able to close on the house we sold on a Wednesday, close on the new home on a Thursday, and move in by Friday! Tony and his team are efficient and professional, and we're happy to call Tony our friend now too. We are the first in our group of friends to purchase a home, so our friends are super lucky that we can refer them to Tony when they're ready to take that next step. There's a reason he's been doing this for so long, it's because he's dang good at it.
