Courtney joined Realty Austin in 2006 and has played a pivotal leadership role in charting its successful course. Having worn many hats within the company as office manager, transaction manager, compliance manager, system administrator, human resources, legal liaison, trainer, broker support and relocation director, Courtney has made a significant impact on how the company does business. As a key contributor to the unique company culture, her oversight and solution-oriented management of daily operations is the backbone of the happy organization. Helping transform the company from a team of nine in September 2006 to a roster of 280 to date, Courtney was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Austin’s no.1 top workplace in 2013.
Courtney’s positive energy and business acumen has helped position the innovative company for thoughtful strategic growth. With five locations, she oversees each department and market center while managing the company’s operations from the Westlake headquarters. Her solid execution of systems and operations has enabled her to expand her leadership across the organization in meaningful ways. As Relocation Director, Courtney solidified the company’s relocation initiatives and championed its membership in Leading Real Estate Companies of the World(TM) global network. In addition to developing strategic and operational plans she oversees all aspects of the relocation function.
Courtney is a Business Economics graduate from Texas State University and prior to joining Realty Austin she was a top sales agent and team leader in a Park City, Utah travel agency for three years. Prior to that she began her career in the hospitality industry where she developed her deep rooted customer service philosophies.
Courtney is an active supporter of Austin Habitat for Humanity and Foundation Communities. She resides in Southwest Austin with husband Darren and their two children.
