Originally from Houston, TX, real estate has always been a part of Brian’s life. His father, Michael, is a long time appraiser, real estate broker, and investor. This timeless passion for real estate is engraved in Brian, helping to make him one of Realty Austin’s top performing agents, closing $120+ million in sales since 2001.

In 2001, Brian obtained his real estate license while attending The University of Texas at Austin. He quickly established strong relationships to become a top REALTOR® in The University of Texas sales and investment market. After graduating from UT in 2004, Brian obtained his Broker’s License and established Copland Realty. One year later, he formed Premier Realty to a create full-service brokerage.

Brian joined Realty Austin in March 2012 to focus on growing his personal business. Since joining Realty Austin, Brian has continuously been a top producer. Out of 365 experienced REALTORS®, he was named the company’s #2 Individual Top Producer for 2016 with $26.1 million in sales. He has also been a member of Realty Austin’s Diamond Club ($10 million+ in sales) since 2013 and was a 2016 Austin Platinum Top 50 Finalist. In addition to being a specialist in the residential market, Brian has also been involved in over 100+ residential and commercial construction projects. His experience allows him to provide knowledge above and beyond a typical REALTOR’S® duties.

Brian cherishes spending time with his wife Brittany, their twin babies (Posey and Cal), their two dogs (Ginger and Jilly) and his friends. He also enjoys attending UT sporting events and eating at local restaurants. He is actively involved with Foundation Communities, Habitat for Humanity, Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation and believes strongly in giving back to the community. Brian is a member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABOR).

Brian Copland is a good friend of mine but that doesn't mean I would just have him represent me in the purchase of real estate. Several of my friends are Realtors but what separates Brian from the vast majority is that Brian is an expert and he truly looks out for his clients' best interest.
