The average price of homes sold in the past year in this neighborhood has been around $378,000, making it a bargain for anyone wanting to get into Eanes ISD. But, the prices are going up all the time. The area is so convenient to the schools and downtown that the property values will continue to rise.What is the average age of the homes?
The homes were built in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Some have been updated and there are still many that need updating.What is the average size of the homes?
Some of the homes are small — in the 1,800 square foot range, but there are also larger homes that are around 3,000 square feet.How long do homes stay on the market?
Homes tend to go quickly in Woodhaven, with some staying on the market for just a few days. However, there have been homes that stayed on the market for up to almost a year.Why do residents choose to live there?
People love this neighborhood, because I think it brings back memories of their own childhood. Children walk and ride their bikes to school, and you see people out in the evenings on walks with their families or pets.What are some negatives of living there?
The only negatives of living in this area are that the homes are older and smaller. However, it is a great place to invest, because the land values are likely to continue to increase.What are the public schools like in Woodhaven?
Woodhaven is in the Eanes school district. Eanes is one of the best school districts in the country.How close are the schools to Woodhaven?
All 3 levels of school are easily accessible. Children can walk to school all the way through high school.Are there any private schools nearby?
There are several private schools. Trinity School, Regents, and St. Andrews upper school are several minutes away.Are there any pre-schools nearby?
There are several pre-schools in this area, including Westlake Hills Presbyterian Preschool, Butterfly Christian Preschool, Child's Day Preschool, and Elsass Academy.What kind of amenities are offered?
Woodhaven residents have access to Westlake High School practice fields, and the tennis courts are available for public use when they are not being used by the school.Where do people go out to eat?
Woodhaven is close so many restaurants, there are just too many to name. From spots along the Capital of Texas Highway to everything downtown and in Bee Cave Woods and Mira Vista Shopping center, you'll find a wide variety of places to eat.Where do people shop for groceries?
Randalls is the closest grocery store to Woodhaven, but many people go to the new HEB at Capital of Texas Highway and Bee Caves Road. Others shop at Central Market at Westgate or Whole Foods at 6th and Lamar.Where do people workout?
There are several gyms close to this neighborhood. Lifetime Fitness is at William Cannon and MoPac. There is also a Gold's Gym on William Cannon, as well as a 24 Hour Fitness. Hills Fitness center is on Bee Caves Road and is popular with Westlake residents.What kind of organized sports are offered?
The Woodhaven neighborhood is in the heart of the Westlake area, so it is full of sports choices for your children. You'll find organized volleyball, t-ball, little league, Pop Warner football, basketball, and lacrosse, just to name a few.What is the traffic like when commuting to downtown?
Traffic to downtown is heavy in the morning, but you only have to be on the freeways for one exit, so it is an easy commute.How long does it take to commute downtown?
It only takes about 15 minutes to commute downtown in morning traffic.How long does it take to drive to the airport?

I have many friends who have lived in Woodhaven for a long time, and they love the area. My daughter went to Cedar Creek Elementary, which is in the heart of Woodhaven.
