Typically, homes in this neighborhood don't stay on the market very long. I live in this neighborhood, and there have been times when I have been asked if I would sell my home. Why do residents choose to live there?
Treemont to me is the best neighborhood in Austin. We have a beautiful park with a playscape and a green area where you see kids having t-ball and soccer practices. There has even been a women's exercise class that meets at the park. It is 10 minutes to downtown and we ride our bikes to Zilker park. On the 4th of July, we gather at the end of Liberty Park Road and watch the fireworks on Lady Bird Lake. Some of the neighbors have neighborhood parties at different times of the year. You see people walking in the evenings. And, we are in the EANES school district. What are some the negatives of living there?

We eat out all the time and there are so many choices! We love to go to Panera Bread, which is just around the corner in the Mira Vista shopping center on Bee Caves Rd. Rudy's Bar-B-Q is close by on Hwy 360. And we are so close to downtown and the Broadie Oaks shopping center, that we have many restaurants to choose from!Where do people shop for groceries?
