What makes you an expert in Circle C?

As a Southm Austin resident and local area Realtor, I've spent a lot of time working and playing in Circle C. In addition, I have assisted numerous clients with the purchase of their homes in Circle C and the surrounding areas.

Circle C Ranch Community Guide

Circle C Ranch one of the top-selling neighborhoods in Austin. Just 15 minutes from downtown, Circle C Ranch is a charming master-planned community accessible from MoPac Boulevard and Slaughter Lane.

Given its proximity to downtown and homes designed for any price range, Circle C Ranch is an ideal location for anyone working in Austin. Residents benefit from convenient access to the city center, while enjoying the beauty of Austin’s Hill Country.

The community includes over 3,000 homes on lush, tree-covered homesites, as well as acres of parks and beautiful open space. In fact, since development began, nearly $3 million has been spent to add trees, shrubs and grasses to the parks, medians and roadways to enhance Circle C’s natural landscaping.

While the first homes in Circle C Ranch were built close to 20 years ago, growth continues today with the addition of Circle C West, Vintage Place, Muirfield, and Circle C Meridian.

Circle C Ranch Demographics

The community offers a diverse population, and its wide variety of properties appeal to everyone from single buyers and families to empty-nesters and retirees. The median household income in the area is $117,584, and 65% of its residents have a college degree.

Things to do in Circle C Ranch

The Circle C residential neighborhoods are surrounded by 462 acres of dedicated parkland. While the most of the park is native land with hike and bike trails only, two major developed areas provide a variety of recreational activities for residents and their families.

At the west end of the park, there are seven irrigated soccer fields. At the east end of the park is the unique 3.1 mile Veloway, a 23-foot wide track made exclusively for rollerblading and cycling. The track is one of only five in the United States and makes the community an ideal location for serious or recreational skaters and cyclists.

Another unique feature of Circle C Ranch is its year-round, outdoor, Olympic-size heated pool, the only one of its kind in Texas. The Swim Center centrally located on a 4.5 acre site in the neighborhood, and its beautifully designed pool, bathhouse and grill provide a great meeting place for neighborhood activities. Grassed terraces make great sunbathing and play areas, as well as natural seating for events and parties. The pool’s size allows space for lap swimming, playing in the water, or simply floating around on a warm summer day.

The championship Circle C Golf Course offers a wide range of play for all skill levels. A semi-private 18-hole course for Circle C residents and their families, the club has also been recognized as one of Texas’s best daily fee courses.

In the rolling hills next to the Circle C Golf Club is The Circle C Tennis Club, which features eight lighted tennis courts, a child care center, and a pro shop. The private club is open to both residents and non-residents, and offers Round Robins, Exhibitions, social events, tennis leagues and private and group lessons.

Residents who are interested in learning about the area’s native plants and wildflowers can visit the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center on the eastern side of the community. Offering public gardens, trails, and woodlands, the center displays the native plants of Texas Hill Country, educates visitors about their surroundings, and promotes research as part of the University of Texas at Austin.

Following tremendous growth in Circle C Ranch over the last few years, there has been a great deal of new retail space developed in the area. The newly constructed Escarpment Village near Circle C is the first true "green building" retail center in Austin. The center uses cisterns for rainwater harvesting, solar panels for heating and electricity, and a green roof with native plants provided by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildlife Center for insulation and heat reduction. Anchored by a 93,000 square foot H-E-B grocery store, the shopping center includes Bank of America, Starbucks and a variety of other retail shops all close to home.

Of course, Circle C residents looking for additional shopping, dining, sports, and entertainment choices are never more than a few minutes away from the hundreds of options available in the Austin area.

Circle C Ranch Schools

For households with children, Circle C provides great schools within the Austin Independent School District. The community is served by on-site schools Kiker elementary, Bailey Middle School, and Bowie High school.

Circle C Ranch Major employers

Circle C is an ideal location for anyone planning to commute just 15 minutes to downtown Austin. Additionally, major employers in the area include AMD, Austin Independent School District, SETON Healthcare Network, the City of Austin, and the University of Texas.
