Circle C Ranch is a master-planned community just 15 minutes from downtown, accessible from MO-Pac Boulevard and Slaughter Lane. The first homes were built in Circle C Ranch close to 20 years ago, and new homes are still being built today. The Veloway is a 23-foot wide track designed for rollerblading and cycling. It is one of only five such tracks in the United States, making the area an ideal location for serious or recreational skaters and cyclists.

Southwest Austin residents interested in learning about the area's native plants and wildflowers can visit the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center. The center offers public gardens, trails, and woodlands, and displays the native plants of Texas Hill Country.

Just a few minutes north, along MO-Pac Expressway, residents can enjoy the Barton Creek Greenbelt, with 773 acres of land suitable for hiking, rock climbing, and swimming. The Barton Creek Wilderness Area is also nearby, offering an additional 1,000 acres of land along the creek.
