Westlake High School, located at 4100 Westbank Drive in west Austin, TX is a public high school in Eanes Independent School District. The school is known for its award-winning academics, programs, and athletics.

The school serves around 2,400 students from the Westlake Hills, Rollingwood, and Southwest Austin neighborhoods. It was recently ranked 52nd in Newsweek’s top 1000 Public Schools list and continuously ranks in the top 50 schools for College Board’s annual AP rankings. The school is also known for its excellent college-attendance rates, with over 80% of graduating students going on to attend four-year universities.

Westlake offers cutting-edge academic programs with courses in graphic design, journalism, robotics, and a variety of languages. The school also offers numerous AP courses and a many extracurricular programs which including award-winning band, newspaper, and theatre programs. Westlake is a division 5A school, offering many athletic options for students including volleyball, swimming, and soccer to name a few. It is also home to an excellent football team, boasting invitations to several State Title games and alumni Drew Brees, quarterback for the 2009 Super Bowl Champions, the New Orleans Saints.
