St. Edward's University
St. Edward’s University is a liberal arts university in located in Southwest Austin, TX, less than 2 miles south of downtown Austin and the vibrant South Congress shopping district. The 160-acre hilltop campus boasts a lush green landscape, beautiful fountains, and unique architecture as well as some of the oldest oak trees in the city.
Founded in 1885, the university celebrated its 125-year anniversary this year. St. Edward’s rich Catholic history and clear vision of the future has made it a top ranking Texas university and leader in cutting-edge education.

The University serves approximately 5,300 students and offers over 50 areas of undergraduate study from from Forensic Chemistry and Entrepreneurship to Graphic Design and Psychology. 11 master’s degree programs and a New College program is also offered for students over 24 seeking bachelors degrees.
St. Edwards University consistently ranks among the top 25 master’s programs in the region. U.S. News recently ranked St. Edward’s University 21st in its Best Colleges list. It is also among the top 10 universities in Texas.
