Austin ISD leads Texas school districts in the number of National Board certified teachers for the eighth year in a row. Austin was named one of the nation's most "reform friendly" cities for education based on AISD's strong funding venues, quality-control metrics, and past and present superintendent leadership, according to a study released by the Fordham Institute. AISD received $62.3 million from the U.S. Department of Education – the largest Teacher Incentive Fund grant in the country – to expand AISD REACH, the district's strategic compensation program.

Students in Jester Estates attend Austin ISD Schools, Hill Elementary, Murchison Middle School and Anderson High School. Hill Elementary is a Blue Ribbon School and has been given an exemplary rating by the Texas Education Agency. Murchison Middle School is implementing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program that feeds into the high school program at Anderson High School, the only high school in Austin ISD, where the International Baccalaureate Program is offered.

The Jester neighborhood amenities include a community pool with lap lanes, tennis courts and a children's playground. Bull Creek is also just a short drive from the neighborhood for swimming and cooling off on a hot summer day. Jester also has several social groups like the Jester Page Turners Book Club, The Early Morning Boot Camp Workout and the Jester Uncorked Wine Lover's Group.

With the natural reserve surrounding the neighborhood, Jester residents are treated to viewing lots of wildlife, including birds like hummingbirds, cardinals, blue jays and a protected warbler. We also enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.
