There are two ways to get to downtown from the Polo Club. You can take 290 West into Loop 1, or you can take Nutty Brown Road to 1826 to 45 to Loop 1. There is less congestion the Nutty Brown way. Traffic tends to bottleneck at the Y in Oak Hill if you go the 290 way. There are plans for raising 290 over Oak Hill, and when this happens, it will be very convenient to get to downtown from the Polo Club.
