The Ranch at Brushy Creek is a beautiful, upscale community that offers easy access to all of the outdoor recreation shopping, and employment areas nearby, while being insulated from the traffic, retail, and commercial space that sometimes comes with such a central location. The community features great schools, excellent amenities, and the perfect location near Brushy Creek Regional Trail. For anyone who loves to run, walk, hike, or bike along the trail, you won't find a better location. The neighborhood is also only 5 minutes from Avery Ranch Golf Course, one of the best public courses Austin has to offer. Avid Golfer Magazine rates Avery Ranch #1 for "Best Overall Course" and "Best Clubhouse."What are some negatives of living there?
The Ranch at Brushy Creek has a slightly higher price point than some of the communities in Cedar Park, so you're paying a bit of a premium for the homes, the location, and all of the great features. Additionally, development in the community is ongoing, so construction traffic and noise in the newer areas could deter some prospective buyers. The trade off is that you get a beautiful home in an exclusive community, right next to the area's best hike and bike trails and a championship golf course, and it's all just minutes from anything else you need in the city.What are the public schools like?
The neighoborhood is served by both the Round Rock Independent School District and the Leander Independent School District. The Round Rock ISD schools include Brushy Creek Elementary, Sommer Elementary, Walsh Middle School, and Round Rock High School. The Leander ISD schools include Rutledge Elementary, Henry Middle School, and Vista Ridge High School. They're all great schools, but if you have your heart set on one in particular, be sure to find out what schools serve your address before you purchase.How close are the schools to The Ranch at Brushy Creek?

Summit Christian Academy and Harbor Christian Academy are private schools in Cedar Park, and there are many others throughout the Austin area.Are there any pre-schools nearby?
Residents can choose from many pre-schools in the area, but the 2 closest to the community are Primrose School on 1431 and Rainbow Station on Parmer.What kind of amenities are offered?
The Ranch at Brushy Creek has a junior Olympic pool, as well as a toddler pool and water feature. The amenity center offers both basketball and volleyball courts, and there is a playscape located near the pool. There are a number of pocket parks throughout the community, and planned development includes even more hike and bike trails for residents to enjoy. Additionally, residents have access to the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, a 90-acre park with a water feature, lake, 3 pavilions, hike and bike trails, and a variety of other features.
Are there any organized community groups or community activities?
The community has a number of events for residents to enjoy, including an annual 4th of July picnic and a Christmas event at the amenity center.What are the most sought after streets?
The gated Estates section located off Frontier Trail is popular and offers wooded home sites — some of which are along community greenbelts — from the low $400’s. However, all of The Ranch at Brushy Creek is designed to offer winding, tree-lined streets in a location that appeals to everyone. Some buyers might like homes closer to the community amenities, while others prefer a bit more privacy. It really depends on what you're looking for.Where do people go out to eat?
There are a variety of restaurants nearby; Austin's Pizza, Z’Tejas, Hunan Ranch, and Waterloo Ice House are all within 5 minutes of The Ranch at Brushy Creek. Within about 10 minutes, you can get to almost anything in Cedar Park or Round Rock.Where do people shop for groceries?
HEB is less than 2 miles away, in the Whitesone Market shopping center at the corner of 1431 and Parmer. The center also includes a Starbucks, Subway, Austin's Pizza, and a number of other shops.Where do people workout?

Traffic in Cedar Park and Northwest Austin is pretty light, but during peak hours, it gets congested near Central Austin. If you're staying in Cedar Park or going to Round Rock, Georgetown, or other parts of Austin, it's not bad at all.How long does it take to commute to downtown Austin?
Depending on whether you go during off-peak or commute hours, it can take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes to get to downtown Austin.How long does it take to drive to the airport?
Travel time to the airport normally takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes, and like anywhere in Austin, it will take longer during rush hour.What makes you an expert in The Ranch at Brushy Creek?
I live about about 2 minutes from The Ranch at Brushy Creek and have helped many prospective buyers with home searches in the neighborhood.
