AUSTIN, TX--November 18, 2013--Realty Austin was named Austin's no. 1 Top Workplace for the second consecutive year.

After growing out of the small category, the residential real estate brokerage maintained its no. 1 rank in the midsize company category. Realty Austin was announced as the winner and awarded the highest honor in Sunday's edition of the Austin American Statesman.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, "Our culture is one of our strongest assets, and this recognition is a true reflection of the reason we are successful. This honor is a testimony to the hard work and collaboration of our incredible team and their commitment to helping our agents succeed. They are the ones who truly earned this award.”

Realty Austin placed first among the top 25 midsize companies with 150 to 499 employees.

By creating a happy and supportive environment for our team, we make it easier for our agents to focus on what's really important, our customers. We are proud of our agents who have taken pride in finding their home within our culture and winning business model."

The 2013 Top Workplaces are divided into three categories: large companies with more than 500 local employees; midsize companies with 150 to 499 local employees; and small companies with fewer than 150 local employees. The employee survey is managed by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on
 organizational health and employee engagement.

Boatwright continued, "We are honored that our team feels as passionately about Realty Austin, as they do about the customers and community they serve. Realty Austin is more than just a place to work -- it's where rock star agents can soar."

This year marks the second first place win for Realty Austin, and the third time it’s been a nominee for the Top Workplaces list. In 2012 the company won first place in the small category, and third place in 2010.
