A new high school is being built approximately 10 minutes away and should open in the fall of 2009.

There are many schools within a 30-minute commute, including St. Helen’s Catholic school in Georgetown (Pre-K through 7), Grace Academy of Georgetown (K through 12), St. Mary’s Catholic School in Taylor (Pre-K through 8), Round Rock Christian Academy (Pre-K through 12), and Applegate SDA of Round Rock (Pre-K through 8). What is the traffic like when commuting to downtown? Forest Creek is located east of IH-35 in Round Rock, just 30 minutes from Downtown Austin. Because Round Rock is home to such major employers as Dell and the Seton Medical Centers, Forest Creek residents don’t necessarily commute into downtown Austin. Round Rock is a destination of its own, where people work, live, play, and shop -- all within reasonable distances.

How long does it take to drive to the airport from Forest Creek? Thanks to the new 130 tollway, Forest Creek residents can be at the airport in as little as 25 minutes of traffic-free driving.
