Recently, MarketWatch.com, an online property of the Wall Street Journal, named Austin, TX number one on its "Best Places for Growing Businesses" in the country. This probably doesn't come as a huge surprise if you've been following the ebullient press about Texas' resillient local and state economies, especially throughout the Great Recession.
