Bee Cave Homes for Sale
Bee Cave is a small community of homes to the west of Austin where Highway 71 meets RM2244 and RR 620. Bee Cave residents attend the following Lake Travis ISD Schools: Lake Pointe and Bee Cave Elementary, Lake Travis Middle school and Lake Travis High School. These outstanding schools have helped maintain high resale values for a wide variety of Bee Cave homes for sale.
The official city of Bee Cave as we know it today didn’t exist until 1987, but homes have been dotting the landscape back to the mid 1800’s. The Bee Cave neighborhood of homes has been a favorite place for Austin residents to live since the 1850s, when early Texas settlers looking for a place to raise their families just outside of the city began to build homes. Soon after, homes in the Bee Cave region of west Austin started sprouting up all over, as Austin residents that preferred the beautiful Hill Country decided to call this new region their home.
