I first contacted Denise several months ago when we were contemplating a return to Central Texas at some point. Each time I came to visit my parent, Denise would show me properties. She was very conscientious with giving valuable information about the properties and knew pitfalls to be aware of (renos that were cosmetic covering deeper issues for instance). In late April, we were visiting again, and Denise spent an entire day showing us several properties. We were able to actually find a property that day and closed in late June. We love our new house. Denise was invaluable during negotiations. And during the process when there was a problem with the title company, Denise went to bat for us, solving the problem to our advantage. She really looks out for her buyers. Plus she's just a really nice person. I can't recommend her highly enough.

We moved into our Texas home in December 2015, and it has been a dream come true! We bought a nice 3-bedroom home out in the country on 10+ acres just east of Austin. We are totally in love with the place and now have 2 miniature donkeys that are equally loving their 5-stall barn and the great pasture! We couldn't move into our house right away since we had many loose ends to deal with on our properties in New Mexico, but Denise continued giving us updates and pictures until we were able to make the final move. She even drove out to check on our property when there was extreme weather in the area, just to make sure everything was okay. We had been working with Denise intending to buy a home in the New Braunfels area. She had answered all of our questions about the area with great knowledge and insight and was a wealth of knowledge for us being new to the city. After about six months, we decided to look closer to Dallas. On a whim one day with no planning my wife and I decided to view some homes out that way. We had been in contact with Denise, but we didn't give her time to schedule viewings. However, when we informed her we liked the area out by Dallas, and we had a couple of homes we would like to see that day, she recommended contacting the selling agent to see if they could find a way to show us the house on such short notice. We then viewed a home that we fell in love with (that's when the drama started)! The selling agent had sent an associate to show us the house entirely understanding the viewing was a courtesy, and we already had an agent we were working with. However, after the viewing, the selling agents tried to say Denise wasn't our agent and the sale should go to the associate that had shown us the house. The selling agents (it was a two-person team) were impossible to reason with. One of the ladies would tell us to contact the other lady, and the other lady would never answer the phone. They weren't receptive, and the associate who showed us the house kept telling us the selling agents wouldn't work with Denise, and they would only accept an offer if it came from her. It was very very unethical. When we collaborated with Denise about how to handle this situation, she simply stated to go ahead and work with the associate agent so we could get the house we had fallen in love with. I remember her saying, what was important to her, what mattered to her, was that we get into the best home for our family. She put her interest aside and was willing to step aside, even though she had put in countless hours with us, researching homes and answering any questions we had. At this point, we realized we had been very blessed to have a caring agent in our corner that put our best interests first. Denise also referred us to a fantastic team for funding and escrow. In the end, we decided the taxes were too high, so we decided to find another home, and not deal with the unethical selling agents. I'm telling this story because it is a testament to Denise's character. I know it's a long story, but I wanted it to be known what an amazing agent and person she is. We had Denise as an agent when we bought our new forever home, and we love her. She's ethical, kind, patient, knowledgeable and in every situation, she is amazingly understanding and handling everything you can throw at her with class and dignity. We were new to the area and didn't know anyone. We feel so very very blessed to have come across Denise. This is not the first time I've bought a home, but it is, by far, the best experience.
