Sherry Ellenbogen - Bio

Sherry began her journey in real estate in 1981 and extended her path into a wide diversity of selling real estate in many different states and real estate markets. Her career started in Houston where Sherry sold new homes for 8-years, as well as in Austin and Atlanta, GA where she quickly built the foundation to her success making her a Top Producer for Gemcraft and Arbor Homes. In 1987, Sherry went into brokerage in Maui Hawaii for a developer across from the Pacific ocean and sold resale all over the island. She returned to Houston in the 90’s and then relocated to the beautiful city of Austin where she continued her career in real estate for the last 20 years. In these past years Sherry has established a base as a Top Producer in the Austin and Surrounding Area.   
 
With the wide variety of expertise and knowledge in this field, Sherry is continuing to expand her understanding by keeping up with everyday updates and activities in the Austin and surrounding area. Although she serves all of Austin and the surrounding areas, her expertise is in the Lake Travis and Lake Austin as well as all waterfront communities. Her experience relates to knowing how to be adaptable in our ever changing economy and real estate trends. Sherry's recipe for success comes from her honesty and sensitivity to listen to her clients needs. She will apply her strong negotiating skills to ensure that your real estate goals are met. I want to share with you a very exceptional experience with you about one of your Realtors, Sherry Ellenbogen. The story actually begins over three years ago when it was necessary for me to move out of my home and into an apartment. My daughter suggested that I call Sherry. She didn’t work for you at that time and was not in the apartment hunting business but as a favor to my daughter, she took her time to help me. A week later she found a good apartment for me. The place was furnished, which I didn’t want. The owners didn’t want to store the furniture so Sherry managed to get a lower rent for me since I was being inconvenienced by having to use their furniture. That was the beginning of my journey with Sherry.

Fast forward to 2011. My next door neighbor wanted to buy my house on Hazeltine in Lakeway. I immediately thought of Sherry and called her to see if she could just do the paperwork for me. The new owners were happy with the price, the process and also with working with Sherry. Sherry managed to keep everyone happy through out the entire process. With kindness and professionalism, she managed this to its happy ending. I can’t say enough good things about Sherry. You are fortunate to have her working with you.
