Testimonials

Scott became a personal friend. I am almost 69 years old and I have NEVER had a real estate agent provide my wife and I such personalized and outstanding service.

Only complaint: did not provide a winning Texas Lottery ticket.

I have worked with many real-estate agents in Austin and Scott was, by far, the best. He was patient, persistent, always optimistic, honest, attentive to detail, and protective during our long journey to the perfect residence. He was always on time to appointments and prompt in returning phone calls and e-mails. He consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was well taken care of from the first moment we met to closing. I would not hesitate to recomend him to family, friends, and customers or anyone else buying or selling a home. His blend of intelligence, humor, and sens of responsibility makes him uniquely suited for the Austin real-estate market and I look forward to working with him in the future. We recently purchased a vacant lot in Westlake Hills with the help of Scott Joffe. We feel that without Scott´s help the sale likely would not have closed. The transaction offered several challenges, not least of which is the fact that we reside in Singapore, making reliance on our agent critical. Further complicating matters was the intricate nature of construction on the land; which necessitated topographical surveys and ground testing; along with engineering, architectural and contractor consultations to ascertain the feasibility of building our home; all of which was meticulously coordinated directly by Scott and then conveyed to us abroad. As a realtor, we feel he is extremely knowledgeable, methodical and professional. Without his constant support our property purchase would not have been possible. Scott helped make a seemingly complex purchase pleasant and stress free. It is with pleasure that we highly recommend him.

Due to a job transfer to another state, my husband and I needed to find a realtor who could get our home sold very quickly. After meeting with a few realtors who didn't seem hopeful that we could get it done, we met with Scott Joffe. Almost immediately we knew he would be exactly what we were looking for - enthusiastic and optimistic that with the proper staging, we could get our house on the market and sold in the very short amount of time allotted. With help from his wife, Kimberli, within days we had our home beautifully staged to compete with the model homes in our neighborhood. With their guidance and aggressive marketing campaign, we accepted an offer on our home the first week it was on the market. Because of Scott and Kimberli, the process of selling our home was easy and virtually stress-free. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for realtors who not only get the job done but are incredibly friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Living south of "South Austin", we had an idea of what we wanted but we just didn't know the descriptive. We had no idea how much it would cost us, but we could definitely describe it. We filled out an online inquiry and within 30 minutes, Scott Joffe called us. He met us at 7:00 am the next day on a Saturday morning. Scott has a brilliant technique in his approach to find what the client is looking for, he listens. He let my better half describe what she was looking for and she provided sample pictures. He simply said, "These are called modern houses." He then asked what area we are willing to look at and our price range. We looked at four houses that day and within a week, he had more leads. All of which were not in a real estate database.

Scott has a mental library that goes beyond your online search, believe me, we know. He found us two houses/condos in the 78704 that were just built and hadn't been put on the market yet. By this time, he had helped us stage our house to sell, which basically means "clean and de-clutter." Within 6 days, we had an offer. Scott will never make a suggestion or tell you what he likes. He lets you make the decision when it comes to buying a house. For example, "Scott, this is a pretty color, do you agree?" His reply is normally, "It doesn't matter what I think. Do you like the color?" He encourages you to dig deep and actually decide, "Do I want this house?"

We all put up our warning blinders when we find something that we really want. Scott was there to help us identify those warnings and bring us back down to earth. Similar to an angel on one side of your head and a devil character on the other, scott was our "angel". He helped protect us from making a potentially bad buy. All the signs were saying, "Walk Away", but we really were making an effort to put our faith in humanity.

The original house we were interested in is still on the market and has since dropped $30,000 in price. Scott found us a house that was initially out of our range, but he made a phone call. The same day we walked from the other property, we began negotiations on the house of our dreams. Scott Joffe doesn't pretend to have these supernatural real estate powers. He keeps his ear to the ground, pounds the pavement and does everything he can in the best interest of his clients. Scott Joffe's performance for us as a real estate agent was top-notch and now I am proud to say he is a friend.

Thank you Scott Joffe, we love our house.

Terrell Abbott, 78704

I found Scott when looking for an agent to find a house in the Austin area before we settled on building. I had contacted several agencies, and except for Scott, they just didn't get it. I told them what I was looking for and they proceeded to send something completely different. We found Drees Home on-line but had trouble contacting them. Scott assisted us with this, and has been helpful all along the way as we live in Georgia and built in Round Rock. He was there for all of our walk-throughs as well as was present at the closing to look over the numbers. I didn't go, but gave my wife POA to sign on my behalf. I was comfortable with Scott there to make sure everything was correct.
