Bio
Richard is a retired teacher/coach from Austin ISD and has always been involved with helping people to one extent or another. He is the proud parent of four children and has 5 grandchildren. As an educator, he learned that serving people was his niche. He enjoys being involved with the major undertakings of LIFE.
One of those major undertakings is buying a house. When people buy a house, they need someone that will treat them like they would a family member and that will give them the level of professionalism and care that they need. He will give them just that. Just as he would his own son or daughter. This applies throughout the selling and/or buying process.
In the past three years, Richard has helped an enormous number of families go through the process of selling their home and buying another. The long list of testimonials atests to that. He has also helped many first time home buyers. Whether his clients are seasoned or very inexperienced, he will serve them like no other Realtor and will absorb most of the stress related to the buying/selling process.
Community Involvement
Richard is very involved with his family, his church and with the community. He is a retired teacher/coach from Austin ISD and helps his church as the Youth Pastor. He is also very involved with outreach to young people in the Austin community.Testimonials
He went the extra mile to follow up on all my questions and requests. I needed many answers to questions about the house and he secured them promptly and provided me details. He gave me excellent advice and brought in contractors and repair people on the spot to address some remodeling that I needed to have done at the new house. He accommodated me in the evenings and weekends. He was always on time and usually beat me to our meeting places. I could not have been more pleased with Richard.

I just wanted to share how pleased I am with the service of one of your realtors, Mr. Richard Cardona. I was in the market to find a place for my daughters to stay. I have a daughter in UT-Austin and was looking for a house or apartment to buy or rent so I can move my other two daughters to a better school district as well. We finally decided that the better option was to rent for now and Mr. Cardona was very helpful and accomodating, going out of his way in assisting us in the process. His friendly engaging personality made you feel at ease, and he was very knowledgeable in the field of real estate in Austin. I would not hesitate to recommend or call on Mr. Cardona again when we are in the market for a place in the future.
Sincerely,
Lila Cerna
Very professional, offering very helpful advice on real estate properties with regard to location, value, pros and cons, etc. Very patient and informative with details of looking for specific property. Always shows more interest in client than just making a commission on sale.
Dr. Carlos Corral
Richard's professionalism was extraordinary. He gave us such insight on the how to turn our house into a buyer magnet. (Sold in 6 days in a soft market!) Being young, we experience a lot of disrespect when it comes to business...Richard was the complete opposite, he treated us like we were his only clients. The process went so much smoother than we expected. We will be clients of Richard for all of our real estate needs. Thanks! A++++
Salina and Angelo Milicia
Richard went above and beyond our expectations. He is just a terrific fellow who always showed us that he had our best interests at heart. We were impressed with how quickly he was able to get a picture of what we were looking for. He showed us several houses in various areas of Austin, but zeroed in on the style and feel that were us. Richard made us feel that he cared about finding the right spot, not just for a sale but to make sure we would be happy. He smoothed the way during every step of the deal and we know he'll be in our corner again. We will be contacting Richard for the next real estate purchase we make in Austin.

Richard was great to work with. He was always willing to meet when we needed to meet. He was also willing to give the extra effort we sometimes needed in both of our transactions. He did a great job.

Richard went above and beyond everything we could have expected from an agent. He was never pushy, rather always looking out for our best interest. I would recommend him to ANYONE!
