Personal Mission Statement

Krysten’s goal with every client is to exceed their expectations and earn not only their repeat business but referrals from their family, friends and co-workers. She understands how taxing moving can be and she brings a calm demeanor and expertise that makes the transition stress free. She prides herself of the fact that 80% of all her clients come from referrals.  

Experience

Krysten has been a leader in the industry since obtaining her real estate license in 2002. She has been a member of two of the top five real estate teams as rated by the Austin Business Journal for 2003 ,2004, 2005 & 2006. In 2011, she was named in the top 7% of Texas Realtors by consumer experience and was featured in Texas Monthly. This year, she received the 2012 Texas Monthly Five Star Professional award.

Designations

Krysten holds the prestigious Certified Residential Specialists, Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Certified New Home Specialist designations. She recently graduated from the Luxury Home Marketing Institute and is working towards her Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation.

Specialties

Krysten specializes in residential real estate and represents sellers, buyers and investors with all of their real estate needs. She has a special knack for helping buyer’s relocating to the Austin area. She attributes her experience as an executive recruiter instrumental in helping relocation clients understand all that Austin has to offer.

Community

Krysten gives back to her community in many ways including participating in fundraising events including Livestrong, ADA, and Danskin. She works with the Capital Area Food Bank, Caritas, Habitat for Humanity and Austin Children’s Shelter. She is also a founding member of Catalyst 8 which was instrumental in the funding of the Long Center for the Performing Arts and helps subsidize the rental costs for qualifying performing artists and arts groups, offering underserved and emergent arts group the opportunity to perform at The Long Center.

Personal

Krysten has been a resident of Austin since 1993 and truly would not live anywhere else. She loves what Austin has to offer in terms great schools, great employers, live music and the lakes. Krysten and her husband reside in the Circle C community and have three amazing children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and competing in triathlons.

My family moved to Austin, Texas in 2005. Having worked with a variety of realtors to buy and sell four other homes in other states prior to our purchase in Austin, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of customer service delivered by Ms. Krysten Mejia. From our first conversation with Krysten in August 2005, we knew we had the right realtor and agency.
