Joy Herring, Realtor with Realty Austin, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in real estate relocation, luxury homes, and downtown condos. She specializes in Farm & Ranch in Texas adding to her list of experience throughout Texas.

Joy Herring, an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, Certified Negotiation Expert and Licensed Realtor since 1987, started out in the real estate industry performing apartment relocations. In 1990, she with a co-partner opened a relocation company named RPS Relocation, Inc. with her longtime friend Shelley Seale in downtown Fort Worth. The company specialized in relocating employees of top companies like American Airlines and Burlington Northern to the metropolis. In 1996, Joy decided to expand her relocation experience and move to the fastest growing city, Austin Texas. Today, Joy is a Realtor with Realty Austin and is known by her peers for client customer service in buying and selling homes in the Austin and surrounding areas.  Her skills include excellent home staging in luxury homes, and in new construction.

She graduated from Oscar Dean Wyatt High School in Fort Worth, TX and studied interior design at Texas Christian University. She is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the Austin School of Protocol, the Multiple Listing Service, The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.

In 1993, the Texas Pride Riding Club honored Joy with the Rider of the Year Award and, the same year, she received First Prize at the Texas Pride Riding Club’s National Finals in Fort Worth.

My husband & I, native Arizonans found out in October 2010 that we were being transferred to Austin. My Phoenix Realty Executives friend found Joy for us. She actually talked to several other people before knowing in her heart that Joy was the right fit for us. I find myself thanking her often. Joy and I spoke several times a day for 2 weeks and she was right on with the properties she found to show us.By the time my husband and I arrived to look at properties, I felt like I already knew Joy. We had a very short amount of time (2 days) to come and find a house here in Austin. Joy set aside her entire weekend for us and even when we hadn't found anything after the first day, spent that night pulling up new properties. The very next day, the first property we looked at was THE ONE!! We ended up having some issues with the house and Joy was the one to get things done! She made special trips out to our home ( the direct opposite direction from where she is located) until the house was perfect. I have to say, she really went above and beyond the scope of realtor.

Moving here and not knowing anyone was a little scary, but I am happy to say that Joy has become a great friend, on top of being a wonderful realtor.
