Bio
Jenny is a native Texan residing in Austin for over 20 years. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and began her real estate career in 2001. She is a seasoned realtor representing buyers and sellers with a multi-million dollar producing record and has been a top agent in the Austin area for the past 8 years. She truly has a love people and it gives her great satisfaction to help people in the process or buying or selling their home. Jenny has worked with people from all walks of life and is always excited to take on new clients. Her longevity in the business has given her much knowledge about the industry. Her advice paid off in spades - we sold the property to the first person who saw it (less than 24 hours after the property was electronically listed for sale). You can't beat results like that.
While purchasing our home we had several issues come up in the inspection. The homeowner's agent failed to communicate with them in a timely fashion. This caused us to arrive for at the home for a scheduled inspection, but the homeowners had not been contacted by their agent. Jenny had to handle a very uncomfortable confrontation! She did this in a not only professional manner, but was able to smooth things over with the homeowners so we could enter the home without any problem. When a couple of the items to be corrected weren't adequate, Jenny immediately moved to correct these items, before Ray or I even had time to figure out what we should do. I would and will recommend Jenny to anyone who wants to purchase or sell a home. I feel as though I not only gained a great resource in the home market, but also a new friend in Austin!

Jenny went the extra miles (literally) to help us find an investment rental home. She assisted us with the unusual complications that arose from the house having current tenants that were planning to stay in the house after our purchase, which is what we wanted...instant tenants! She assisted us with drafting a new lease for the tenants. She was very helpful in facilitating getting a new roof on the house that met with our satisfaction before the closing. Jenny Walker was the consummate professional from the very first meeting we had together all the way through to closing. I was able to sell my home quickly for the profit I was hoping for at a time when economic conditions would have suggested otherwise. Jenny followed up with every lead and she did many extras along the way, some of which I asked of her, but many things were done without me having to ask. Her helpful, assertive, hard working nature is a perfect fit for the real estate market. I found Jenny to be a friend when I needed some encouraging words and an agent when we were working on the more serious business of selling my home. Jenny checked in with me constantly and communicated thoroughly through every available outlet phone calls, home visits, e-mails, etc. We worked together to get a new roof put on my home after hail damage occurred weeks after putting the house on the market. By and large individuals selling their home have time constraints and important reasons for selling, and nothing is more important than the sale of that property. My case was no different, looking back it seems like an impossible expectation to have, but Jenny focused only on the goal and what needed to be accomplished. Her attitude was perfect, she was direct and highly knowledgeable about her profession and educated me on many real estate issues. She also brought in someone to stage the home and I believe this made a huge and overwhelming difference in prepping the home to go on the market. Jenny knew that once the house went on the market it had to show well and impress from the very first viewing. Somehow, amazingly everything fell into place, and Jenny was diligent through the difficult negotiating phase so that we didn't lose that first potential buyer. Actually, there was no room for error since the closing occurred on May 29th and I moved to Europe on June 2nd. Although I had worked with other real estate agents in the past, I knew this time there could be no compromises and from my first meeting with Jenny I knew I was in good hands.
