Highlights
Born in Los Angeles, California (in the same year that Freddie Mac began keeping track of interest rates!) Jen Butel had an eye for property from the beginning.  A life spent exploring the long California coast and the changing landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, gave way to the graceful and expansive skies of Texas when Jen (and her husband Jesse) brought their young family to Austin.  

Most of Jen’s professional life has been built in and around the industry of real estate.  From her passionate love of organic gardening and landscape architecture (her backyard is worth visiting!) to a long stint managing multi-million dollar construction budgets for luxury home builders, Jen knows that being a homeowner is still the great American dream, and she feels humbled by the opportunity she gets to be an advocate for her clients in this very important decision.  

Utilizing every available tool for her client’s benefit, Jen has a lengthy list of fabulous local resources (she keeps a running rolodex of Austin’s best in her head!) and a cutting edge perspective on the future of technology in real estate. Her innovative blog, Best Austin Neighborhoods, is a must see when considering a geographical relocation to the Lone Star state.
