Greg Saunders - Bio

Originally from Michigan, Greg graduated from Central Michigan University and moved to Austin in early 2007. He started doing foreclosure analysis, investment renovations, and property marketing for one of the largest purchasers of foreclosed homes in Texas, before moving on to the consulting side of Real Estate in late 2008.

Since then, he has continually helped new homebuyers, move-up buyers, and investors find homes that fit their specific criteria.

Education

Greg earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics with a specialization in Construction Management from Central Michigan University.

Personal Bio

Greg is engaged to Laura Nicholson who is currently earning her Doctorates in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M. They have two rescue dogs together, Oberon and Isis, and enjoy spending time in the parks and lakes around Austin.

An avid exercise fan, Greg enjoys participating in local endurance events, Jujitsu, Muay Thai, snowboarding and other winter sports in Colorado.

My experience purchasing a home with Greg Saunders as my broker was nothing short of amazing. The effort this gentleman put in to making sure everything was done when it needed to be done was most definitely above and beyond the call of duty.

He took us looking at probably 20+ homes, the first round on a Sunday and the second on a Tuesday.  He was always pleasant and interesting to talk to while traveling from location to location - there was no awkwardness basically being shuttled around in a, for all intents and purposes, a strangers vehicle - and we had two 16 year old girls with us.

We did find a home, however, we were purchasing the home long distance (we live in the Washington DC area currently - we were just there on vacation and house shopping) and Greg went so far as to climb up on the roof and take video of it after the owner had the new roof installed, took water samples of the well and delivered them to the county, picked up the results, and then shocked the well for us. Where else do you get service like this?

We are so ready and eager to move in to our new home - just a few more weeks!
