Deb Hoyes - Bio

When you are looking for a new place to plant your roots, or you're ready to sell the home you've loved for the last several years, you'll want to work with a Realtor like Deb who is ready to listen to you, and work hard to understand your needs. She’ll work diligently to earn your trust and respect, and will communicate with you extensively to keep you well informed throughout the process.

After a successful career in corporate sales and marketing with a nationally recognized home building products company on the east coast, Deb chose to move to Austin. In her previous career she was recognized for her organization, communication, marketing, and project management skills. She brings those same skills to her career in Real Estate.  For Deb, it’s all about communication – understanding what her customer needs are, and working tirelessly to achieve them in the best way for all sides of the transaction.

Deb has lived all over the U.S. in her lifetime, and is often asked if she was a military brat. She wasn’t, but she’s lived from Massachusetts to Florida to Washington and places in between. She considers New Jersey her original home and is a Jersey girl at heart with salt water in her veins. She has family in Pennsylvania and friends throughout the mid-atlantic region. Texas is her home now and South Padre has been a great substitute for “the shore”.

As one of the many who have chosen Austin as their new home, Deb has an understanding of what relocating looks and feels like. It’s exciting and challenging learning a new city, where to live, where to shop, what schools are recommended, what is there to do? She works with all types of clients, but really enjoys helping transplants find the right part of Austin and the surrounding area that works for them.

Deb’s daughter Hillary attends St. Edward’s University, and is her greatest source of pride. When not working with her clients, Deb spends much of her time with friends exploring the hill country and all that makes Austin unique.

Deb works closely with Austin Habitat for Humanity, and serves on two committees for them, helping to guide families through the process of obtaining a home. She is also a volunteer with Cancer Connection, a local network of cancer survivors and caregivers.
She currently lives in South Austin with two goofy Persian cats, Lulu and Polly.
